Guidelines For Pool Balancing
- pH: No higher than 7.8; No lower than 7.2
- Calcium (water hardness): No higher than 200 ppm; No lower than 100 ppm
- Calcium (water hardness) for painted pools: No lower than 175 ppm
- Total Alkalinity: No higher than 200 ppm; No lower than 100 ppm
- Chlorine Level: No higher than 5 ppm; No lower than 1 ppm
- Salt Level: 4000 ppm. (Note: Salt levels should be turned down during winter or when bathing levels are low.
- Stabilizer Level: No higher than 50 ppm. No lower than 30 ppm.
